Food was good. Service was great, friendly and quick. First time having a pulled beef burger, it was a good experience

Amazing restaurant with unobstructed view of the Trier cathedral! We got a table in the ''first row'' and even though there was no shade, the staff offered us to move the table under sunbrellas and make our stay a little bit more comfortable. We opted for appetizers only as it was a hot day and they were all delicious! The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist inside, chicken skewers nicely spiced were so soft they were melting in my mouth, the meatballs in tomato sauce were exquisite, octopus salad unbelievably tasty and tender, and plums wrapped in bacon served more as a desert to us than appetizer, nevertheless also a good choice. While waiting for our food, which came very quickly anyway, we enjoyed watching the bustling square in front of the cathedral, sipping wine. The choice was extensive, with some very good wines. Service was good, nice and fast, kind of friendly but a bit distant with customers at the same time. We paid with a card. Visited in July 2022.

We initially thought the restaurant was closed since upon entering the building the left side of the restaurant (Astoria side) wasn't open. However we were kindly made aware by one of the staff members that the other side was also part of the restaurant and was open. This part appears to be the bar-bistro part and had a nice relaxing ambience. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered for starters the asparagus soup, octopus salad and a patatas bravas. For the main, we had salmon steak, pulled beef burger, ragout and the wiener schnitzel. The octopus was tasty and very tender. The soup had a good asparagus taste and the patatas bravas were okay (tiny bit salty). The salmon steak had a nice crust and was juicy. The pulled beef burger and ragout were tasty. The schnitzel had a nice thin breadcrumb layer. Overall, loved the service and food was nice.

Nice place to have a drink with the view of the Saint Peter's Cathedral. Aperol was ok, but they don’t have a wide variety of beers. Food was nothing special, by contrary the steak I had was full of very tough sinews, almost impossible to eat. The waiters are more serious than friendly.

Great place on the square of the Cathedral! We loved having a few glasses of wine and beer on their outdoor patio. Perfect!

Average food, nothing special, lacks maybe some variation / inspiration. Some of, just some of the waiters, are less skilled and unpolite. Like yesterday, was really busy indeed, one of them, nice, told me to have a look for a table, I did and wait, then sit after a while. In 10 minutes another (with pierced tongue) asked me to leave as someone was waiting...( which came after me however...). Really unpleasant...
